MAX31855 J-Type Thermocouple Sensor Breakout
SEN-30001-J
Breakout board for the MAX31855J digital thermocouple interface IC. Measured temperature range is -210C-1200C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. This sensor supports a larger operating range (specifically in the negative range) than its predecessors, the MAX6674 and MAX6675, though it is not pin-pin compatible. This board is interfaced with a 0.1" 1x5 pin header, has a vertical mini thermocouple connector and four mounting holes for standoffs and 4-40 screws.

SparkFun Current Sensor Breakout
INA169
The INA169 is a “high-side current monitor,” which means that you place a resistor (a “shunt resistor”) on the positive power rail and the INA169 measures the voltage drop across that resistor. The INA169 outputs a small current based on the measured voltage drop. If you place a resistor from the output of the INA169 to ground, you can measure the voltage at the output.

SparkFun Soil Moisture Sensor (with Screw Terminals)
The SparkFun Soil Moisture Sensor is a simple breakout for measuring the moisture in soil and similar materials. The soil moisture sensor is pretty straightforward to use. The two large, exposed pads function as probes for the sensor, together acting as a variable resistor. The more water that is in the soil means the better the conductivity between the pads will be, resulting in a lower resistance and a higher SIG out. This version of the Soil Moisture Sensor includes a 3-pin screw pin terminal pre-soldered to the board for easy wiring and setup.

The SparkFun NEO-M9N GPS Breakout is a high quality GPS board with equally impressive configuration options. The NEO-M9N module is a 92-channel u-blox M9 engine GNSS receiver, meaning it can receive signals from the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations with ~1.5 meter accuracy. This breakout supports concurrent reception of four GNSS. This maximizes position accuracy in challenging conditions, increasing precision and decreases lock time; and thanks to the onboard rechargeable battery, you'll have backup power enabling the GPS to get a hot lock within seconds! Additionally, this u-blox receiver supports I2C (u-blox calls this Display Data Channel) which made it perfect for the Qwiic compatibility so we don't have to use up our precious UART ports. This is a breakout board for the SP3485 RS-485 transceiver IC, which will convert a UART serial stream to RS-485. The SP3485 is a half-duplex transceiver, so it can only communicate one way at a time, but it can reach transmission speeds of up to 10Mbps. This board requires a very low amount of power and can operate from a single +3.3VDC supply.

CD74HC4067
This is a breakout board for the very handy 16-Channel Analog/Digital Multiplexer/Demultiplexer CD74HC4067. This chip is like a rotary switch - it internally routes the common pin (COM in the schematic, SIG on the board) to one of 16 channel pins (CHANxx). It works with both digital and analog signals (the voltage can't be higher than VCC), and the connections function in either direction. To control it, connect 4 digital outputs to the chip's address select pins (S0-S3), and send it the binary address of the channel you want (see the datasheet for details). This allows you to connect up to 16 sensors to your system using only 5 pins!

SparkFun FTDI Basic Breakout

This is a basic breakout board for the FTDI FT232RL USB to serial IC. The pinout of this board matches the FTDI cable to work with official Arduino and cloned 3.3V Arduino boards. It can also be used for general serial applications. The major difference with this board is that it brings out the DTR pin as opposed to the RTS pin of the FTDI cable. The DTR pin allows an Arduino target to auto-reset when a new Sketch is downloaded. This is a really nice feature to have and allows a sketch to be downloaded without having to hit the reset button. This board will auto reset any Arduino board that has the reset pin brought out to a 6-pin connector.
