This LXI Optical Switching range consists of our LXI Scalable Chassis (model 65-200-002) that can be easily reconfigured by the removal and insertion of our optical switching plug-in modules shown below. The unit is purchased as an empty chassis along with the number of plug-in modules initially required (up to six optical matrix or multiplexer modules). As your requirements evolve, additional modules can be easily added, and the control software automatically detects the new configuration. The plug-ins are loaded into the chassis via the front panel, greatly improving the flexibility and ease of maintenance of the unit.

If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card.
