U2356A -
Keysight Technologies
The U2356A offers multifunction capabilities in a module. It can be used like a digital multimeter in polling mode. It can be transformed to be a simple scope using the continuous mode with simple triggering capabilities. No matter if it is used as a standalone module or when plugged into a U2781A USB modular instrument chassis, the synchronization and triggering capabilities allow great flexibility in making the desired measurements. With the analog output being able to send out predefined or arbitrary waveforms make this a good tool when closed loop feedback or stimulus is required. The digital IO channels allows for closed loop control through connections to switches, relays and solenoids. The burst mode enables the U2356A to simulate simultaneous analog input acquisition.

The Serial analyzer sink decodes analog data on a serial bus to serial data. It can be used to monitor and analyze RS232, RS485, MIDI, DMX or other compatible serial buses. The serial analyzer can monitor up to eight sources. When these sources are in sync (all sources are of one (combined) instrument), all captured data will be displayed in chronological order.

FLL222 -
Fifo Electronics
The FLL222 Break Out Box is designed to be used with the FLL and FSA serial analyzers to monitor full duplex bidirectional data. The serial line passes through FLL222 using the 9-pin connectors on the unit. Data from pin 2 of the serial line is available on pin 2 in the first output cable. Pin 3 data is available on pin 2 of the second cable. The output cables can be plugged into the COM ports of the PC running the serial analyzer.

B4601C -
Keysight Technologies
Your system uses serial buses to communicate between ICs and transfer data to and from peripheral devices. Sifting through thousands of serial bits by looking at long vertical columns of captured 1's and 0's can be very tedious, time-consuming, and error prone. The Keysight Technologies B4601C serial to parallel analysis package is general-purpose software that allows easy viewing and analysis of serial data.

TAL Technologies, Inc.
Turn any PC or Laptop with two serial ports into a serial breakout box (serial line analyzer). Snoop in on data that is sent or received through an RS232 serial cable between any two devices or computers. This is an excellent tool for diagnosing serial communications problems as well as for figuring out what is being sent and received between two devices.
