It delivers high isolation, low insertion loss and fast switching time, making this device ideal for filter bank switching and RF signal routing in test and measurement (T&M) and wireless applications up to 8 GHz. No blocking capacitors are required if DC voltage is not present on the RF ports.

PXI Switch - 16-CH General-Purpose SPDT Relay Module
PXI-7901
ADLINK PXI-7901 is a general-purpose (GP) switch module implementing 16-CH independent single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relays (1 Form C). PXI-7901 can connect one input to one output and be used as signal switching and routing for measurement system or ATE. Thanks to its high switching capacity, PXI-7901 can also be used to turn on or turn off devices such as motors, fans, heaters, and lights. The contact position of the relays can be changed either by direct software commands or by following the instructions previously stored in the on-board scan list. The scan list advances upon the trigger from external measurement devices, such as a DMM. The scan list could also advance when the scan-delay timer expires. In the PXI-7901, PXI trigger functions are supported and software programmable. Multiple modules can therefore be synchronized without additional field wiring.

Coax Switches
CXAR Series
CXAR products are 50 or 75 ohm coax switch modules with mechanical or solid state switches. They can be configured to drive from 16 to 256 switch points and are intended to be used for signal from DC to 2.5 GHz depending on the configuration. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. Control options include 10/100BaseT Ethernet LAN, RS232, GPIB or optional manual control. There are four different types of switch modules available:

Magnetic Level Gauge Switches
ABB's magnetic level gauge switches for point level alarm and/or control can mount to a KM26 magnetic level gauge or an LS Series cage level switch.These switches are completely isolated from the process fluid as they are magnetically activated by a magnet equipped float (KM26) or attraction sleeve (LS Series). The unique magnetic coupling action eliminates seals, diaphragms, springs, and torque tubes common to other level switching alternatives since there is no physical contact with the process fluid. The magnetic coupling also eliminates process connections to the switch; therefore, no isolation valves are required to block off the switch for maintenance. The switch "set point" is easily adjustable without changing any process piping and the result is a more reliable and easier way to maintain level system.

Noise Parameters are the non-50Ω extensions of Noise Figure, and are an important modeling and model validation tool to understand how a device-undertest’s performance changes as a function of source impedance. This high-density reed relay matrix with 256 crosspoints. This model is configured as a Dual 16x8, model 40-531 is configured as a 32x8.
