Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple cards. Expansion cables are available for the 50-512 and 50-513: The 50-512 can be expanded to 44x8 or the 50-513 can be expanded to 88x4 using two cards linked by the ribbon cable assembly 50-976-020-0.1M. The matrix has been optimized for applications that require high signal bandwidth. With careful matrix design and the use of isolation switching, the 40-588 has a bandwidth in the range of 35 MHz to 70 MHz depending upon path selected.
