The C-17 Pitot Static Breakout Box is a derivative of TestVonics™ Line Switching Unit (LSU) Series. The assembly includes a multi-port distribution unit which provides 4 Pitot and 8 Static outputs from one channel of Pitot and Static controlled pressure. The LSU distributes pitot static supplies for the external services and connection of hose assemblies for testing of aircraft Pitot and Static ports for the C-17. The lightweight unit is housed in a highly durable and easy to maneuver case. Additionally, four (4) 30ft Pitot Hoses, eight (8) 30ft Static hoses, and two hose storage bags are included with the assembly.

Fifo Serial Analyzer 2 TO 2 Breakout Box

The FLL222 Break Out Box is designed to be used with the FLL and FSA serial analyzers to monitor full duplex bidirectional data. The serial line passes through FLL222 using the 9-pin connectors on the unit. Data from pin 2 of the serial line is available on pin 2 in the first output cable. Pin 3 data is available on pin 2 of the second cable. The output cables can be plugged into the COM ports of the PC running the serial analyzer.

Junction Boxes
Junction boxes are used for complex power and signal distribution. The junction boxes have redundant mechanical barriers. The mechanical integrity of the junction box is verified during helium leak testing and hydrostatic testing of the jumper assembly. The INA169 is a “high-side current monitor,” which means that you place a resistor (a “shunt resistor”) on the positive power rail and the INA169 measures the voltage drop across that resistor. The INA169 outputs a small current based on the measured voltage drop. If you place a resistor from the output of the INA169 to ground, you can measure the voltage at the output.
