  • Cassegrain Antennas

    ERAVANT

In telecommunications and radar, a Cassegrain antenna is a parabolic antenna in which the feed antenna is mounted at or behind the surface of the concave main parabolic reflector dish and is aimed at a smaller convex secondary reflector suspended in front of the primary reflector. The beam of radio waves from the feed illuminates the secondary reflector, which reflects it back to the main reflector dish, which reflects it forward again to form the desired beam. The Cassegrain design is widely used in parabolic antennas, particularly in large antennas such as those in satellite ground stations, radio telescopes, and communication satellites.

  • Long Range Thermal Imaging Surveillance System

    Ranger HRC - Teledyne FLIR

The Ranger HRC is a high-resolution mid-wave thermal imaging system built around a large format 640x480 array and a choice of powerful continuous-zoom telescopes. While the Ranger HRC is available in its standalone, environmentally hardened enclosure, it can also include and optional high-magnification CCD-TV camera, laser rangefinder, digital magnetic compass and an integrated, gyro-stabilized, pan/tilt mechanism that provides precise target geo-location capability. Operators can field Ranger HRC as a portable stand-alone system, or integrate it into a network of fixed-site sensors via its suite of plug-and-play interface options.

  • Astronomy Solutions

    Thales SESO, SAS

For more than 40 years, Thales has delivered high accuracy optics for ground-based Astronomy all around the world. These optics range from single, but challenging, unmounted optical components up to fully integrated opto-mechanical systems. Our design heritage and past experience in this field cover the design, manufacture and AIT activities of many optics and sub-assemblies used in Telescope instrumentation, such as focal plane assemblies as well as the direct production of telescope mirrors themselves. Several major achievements of Thales ground-based Astronomy products were the Optical wide field corrector for the Dark Energy Survey (lien), the Reference Body for future Deformable Secondary Mirror of the VLT (lien) and different challenging spectrograph optics (Collimator and Cameras) for different Observatories (lien). One advantage Thales has with this activity is that most part of the manufacturing steps involved (i.e. opto-mechanical design, milling/grinding, lightening, polishing and coating) are directly under our control in our own facility. Our current capabilities for the production of optics for ground-based Astronomy are from a few centimeters size up to 2 meters. Thanks to the continuous efforts in R& D and investments into new production machines, Thales is now ready for future industrial challenges including the optical production of some key elements of the E-ELT, GMT and TMT programs.

  • Cryocoolers

    CT - Sunpower Inc.

The CT Cooler was brought to commercialization in 2001 after 10 years of cryocooler development at Sunpower. The CT stands for CryoTel®, as the first commercial application was for the telecommunications industry. The CT has been used successfully in applications such as High Temperature Superconductivity (HTS) filters, high altitude balloons, refrigeration, germanium detectors, IR detectors, radio telescopes, laser diode cooling, and research among others. We believe the customer will agree that the CryoTel® CT is the smallest 11W @77K cooler available at an attractive price point with a Mean Time to Failure of over 200,000 hours.

  • Large Aperture Beam Profilers

    Duma Optronics LTD

Modern laser applications seldom require large beam profiling, combined with high resolution. The BeamOn HR 1" is the perfect solution enabling both relatively large beam characterization, with a high resolution detector of 20 MP. By implementing a diffuser to present the beam to a smaller detector via dedicated optics, one of the largest beam profilers of 60 mm is offered, i.e BeamOn LA U3. Even further than that, for collimated beams the Laser Analyzing Telescope offers an input aperture of 100 mm combined with high resolution, attitude and divergence measurement of the laser beam.

  • High-Speed MWIR Camera for Range & Science Applications

    FLIR RS8500 - Teledyne FLIR

The FLIR RS8500 MWIR infrared camera system is a high-performance thermal camera and infrared telescope combined in a single weatherproof housing, specifically designed for long-range tracking and measurement applications including military range, aerospace, and outdoor research. Built around a high-resolution 1280 × 1024 midwave indium antimonide detector with the ability to deliver data up to 180 frames per second, the RS8500 provides 24% more pixels and a 46% faster frame speed than the previous model. Multiple simultaneous data and video output options allow the camera to be easily integrated into most data acquisition systems.

  • Optics Test Equipment

Software For Autocollimators And Test Telescopes - Optik Elektronik Gerätetechnik GmbH

Small investment - big improvement in measurement accuracy! The CROSSDETECT software is used to retrofit existing autocollimators of all types that are already equipped or can be equipped with a camera. The use of camera and software ensures that the measurement accuracy is increased by a factor of approx. 10 compared to visual measurements! The software can also be supplied complete with an autocollimator.

  • Cryocooler

    CryoTel® DS30 - Sunpower Inc.

The CryoTel® DS 30 Stirling cryocooler offers efficient, reliable, compact and high power cooling to the market in the temperature range of 35 to 250 Kelvin. The DS30 was optimized for applications in which SWAP (size, weight and power) and reliability are concerns. The DS30 consumes considerably less power than other cooling alternatives and requires no maintenance, making it ideal for strategic as well as industrial applications. Both the cold head and the pressure wave generator can be mounted in any orientation. Application examples include semiconductor manufacturing, large infrared detectors, RF receivers or antennas, astronomical telescopes, laser cooling, high-temperature superconductivity, cold traps, and others.

  • Cryocoolers

    MT - Sunpower Inc.

The MT cooler has been in production since 2003 and is based on the CT cooler design.  It was developed  for the customer who did not need the lift of the CT cryocooler and wanted size and weight reduction for their application.  The MT has been used successfully in applications such as High Temperature Superconductivity (HTS) filters, high altitude balloons, refrigeration, germanium detectors, IR detectors, radio telescopes, laser diode cooling, and research among others. We believe the customer will agree that the CryoTel®  MT is the smallest 5W @77K cooler available at an attractive price point with a Mean Time to Failure of over 200,000 hours.

  • EZ-Glider Inverted Telescoping Torque Arms

    Mountz Inc.

The EZ-Glider inverted telescoping torque arms securely keep electric or pneumatic torque tools in perpendicular or a level alignment to help prevent side loading or cross threading occurring during the assembly process. Crafted with lightweight durable carbon fiber the torque arm collapses like a telescope. The torque arms are ideal for assembly lines like automotive, aerospace and appliance where space is a premium and operator safety is mandatory. The ergonomic design of the EZ-Glider torque arms reduces RMI (repetitive motion injury) and CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome). The effortless handling of the torque arm provides comfortable tool operation and increased production. The flexible telescoping arms provide manufacturers the ability to mount the arms to a wall, workbench, a standard rail system, aluminum extrusion or existing overhead system. The torque arms are maintenance free.
