Ground-Fault Products for Solidly Grounded Systems
Ground-fault products are used to monitor grounded systems (ungrounded and grounded) for fault currents or residual currents. The sum of all conductors except the protective earth conductor is measured by means of measuring current transformers.In general, ground-fault monitors (RCM - residual current monitors) are used to send a message to the user even before reaching the shutdown threshold of the GFCI. Ground-fault monitors detect deteriorations of the insulation level at an early stage and in a reliable way.

2.5G DPSK Demodulator
Optoplex’s Optical DPSK Demodulator, also known as Delay Line Interferometer (DLI), converts phase modulation to amplitude modulation over the entire C+L band in support of data transmission rates of 2.5, 10 or 40 Gb/s. The DPSK demodulator is designed for phase modulated optical communication systems utilized in commercial, defense and space exploration markets. Optoplex’s DPSK Demodulator is based on a patented free-space optical design, which is compact, athermal and polarization-independent. Themeasured frequency drift over temperature is only ~0.02 GHz/°C for our standard passive device. Further, this DPSK Demodulator exhibits a total polarizationdependent phase shift of less than 2 degrees over the entire operating temperature range with a high extinction ratio. XP Power today announced the DPC series of highly efficient ultra slim DIN rail AC-DC power supplies. Available in 30, 50 and 70 Watt single output models, they all accept the universal input range from 90 to 264 VAC without the need for any input selector switches. Taking up significantly less space on the rail by being up to 44% slimmer than current generation DIN rail power supplies, the 30 Watt DPC30 measures just 90.0 x 100.0 x 22.5 mm (3.6 x 3.94 x 0.89 inches). Also, the 50 Watt DPC50 measures 90.0 x 100.0 x 30.0 mm (3.6 x 3.94 x 1.18 inches) and the 70 Watt DPC70 measures only 90.0 x 100.0 x 40.5 mm (3.6 x 3.95 x 1.59 inches). Transformer Ratio Meters
Handheld Turns Ratio & Winding Resistance Tester TWR-H
TWR-H is a handheld, battery operated, fully automatic test set specially designed for turns ratio, phase shift, excitation current and winding resistance measurements of transformers. It can also perform demagnetization of these transformers. Transformer turns ratio is determined by applying AC voltage across high voltage winding, accurately measuring AC voltage across the corresponding unloaded transformer winding, and then displaying the ratio of these voltages. User can enter a transformer’s nameplate voltages, so that turns ratio deviation can be calculated. This feature eliminates any error otherwise caused by an operator’s manual calculation. TWR-H compares measured turns ratio with the nameplate ratio and prints out the % of error for each test. Transformer winding resistance is determined by injecting DC current through a winding, accurately measuring DC voltage across the winding, and then calculating resistance as the ratio of voltage and current. The device generates true DC ripple-free currents. Both the injection of the current and the discharge of energy from transformer magnetic circuit are automatically regulated.
