Maintenance time saving is ensured by one time connection to transformer with simultaneous resistance measurement of three / six windings, measurement of resistances of all taps with automated tap change and demagnetization facility. The meter is protected against the back-EMF offered by large inductive windings.

These converters support up to 255 fiber nodes, and each fiber node can extend the RS232 / RS422 / RS485's distance to 3 miles (5km) for multi-mode converters and cables, or 25 miles (40km) for single-mode converters and cables.
