  • Forensic Products

    ScienceGL, Inc.

During 6 years of R&D, original 4D hyper-spectrum data processor software was developed. Based on Hyper-spectrum image stack processing the software is optimized for specific document examining tasks. The program is designed to process data from Hyper-spectral imaging equipment. It was successfully implemented in our partner product ForensicXP automatic full digital hyper-imaging spectrograph. The original patent pending method was developed for spectral signature unwrapping and enhancement of spectrometer output. An exceptional sensitivity of the instrument and broad spectral range permits to detect very small differences in similar inks.

  • Spectrometers, Vacuum

    McPherson, Inc.

A compact and versatile vacuum ultraviolet monochromator. A selection of aberration-corrected diffraction gratings is available so you can tailor the instrument to your wavelength of interest and application. Connect this instrument directly to your vacuum plasma physics experiment or build an intense UV tunable source. It is available as a scanning monochromator, as a spectrometer, or as a spectrograph with microchannel plate or direct-detection CCD. The Model 234/302 is popular in systems due to its compact design, high throughput and resolution. It is also available with an additional entrance or exit port.

  • Deep Cooled UV-VIS/NIR Scientific Cameras

    HORIBA, Ltd.

TE and cryogenically cooled CCD and EMCCD scientific cameras for ultra sensitivity from 200 nm to 1100 nmHORIBA Scientific offers a complete line of spectroscopic multi-channel detectors for scientific research. For spectral detection from UV to near-IR, two dimensional CCDs and indium gallium arsenide linear arrays offer a faster acquisition option over single point detectors with relatively high sensitivity. Coupled with HORIBA’s range of aberration corrected, flat field imaging spectrographs, custom spectroscopy packages can be assembled for a variety of applications.

  • Astronomy Solutions

    Thales SESO, SAS

For more than 40 years, Thales has delivered high accuracy optics for ground-based Astronomy all around the world. These optics range from single, but challenging, unmounted optical components up to fully integrated opto-mechanical systems. Our design heritage and past experience in this field cover the design, manufacture and AIT activities of many optics and sub-assemblies used in Telescope instrumentation, such as focal plane assemblies as well as the direct production of telescope mirrors themselves. Several major achievements of Thales ground-based Astronomy products were the Optical wide field corrector for the Dark Energy Survey (lien), the Reference Body for future Deformable Secondary Mirror of the VLT (lien) and different challenging spectrograph optics (Collimator and Cameras) for different Observatories (lien). One advantage Thales has with this activity is that most part of the manufacturing steps involved (i.e. opto-mechanical design, milling/grinding, lightening, polishing and coating) are directly under our control in our own facility. Our current capabilities for the production of optics for ground-based Astronomy are from a few centimeters size up to 2 meters. Thanks to the continuous efforts in R& D and investments into new production machines, Thales is now ready for future industrial challenges including the optical production of some key elements of the E-ELT, GMT and TMT programs.
