Using IR absorption with a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, the T300U is designed to allow ultra-sensitive CO measurements while still meeting the requirements for use as a US EPA compliance analyzer.The optical bench is enclosed in a temperature controlled oven, dramatically decreasing instrument noise and drift. The objective and field mirrors in the sample cell are gold plated to maximize signal to noise performance, while a temperature-controlled Nafion dryer on the inlet minimizes water interference caused by ambient humidity changes. Periodically, the T300U seamlessly corrects its baseline by routing the sample through a heated catalytic CO scrubber. To meet the ever increasing data transfer rate in high end applications, such as professional broadcasting transmission or advanced high resolution display, the SD 4.1 specification calls out the maximum performance of 1.56 Gbps at UHS-II full duplex mode per lane or half duplex UHS-II at 3.16 Gbps. In real applications, due to the system overhead and different SD 4.1 device controller designs, the actual measured performance can vary dramatically from system to system. With the newly introduced ADMA 3, the OS driver is now able to issue multiple read or multiple write commands at once, without having to wait for the SD controller to complete one command at a time. Once the SD host controller has collected multiple commands, it will then manage and complete them without intervention from the host software drive. Thus, the UHS-II 1.56 Gbps interface can be more effectively utilized and maximize the system throughput. This feature can be very useful when running multithreaded applications where multiple applications are constantly updating their status or swapping their contents by writing or reading small chunk of data to or from the memory card.

An internal vacuum pump is employed to draw both the sample and the ambient air into the converter. The converted sample gas is fed to the fluorescence chamber where it is then exposed to ultraviolet radiation.

The Model T108 Total Sulfur analyzer is designed to measure mixed sulfur impurities, collectively referred to as Total Sulfides, in air or carbon dioxide gas. Since there is no scrubber in the system, the instrument reading is the sum of the oxidized sulfur compounds and SO2.The Model T108 consists of a modified Model T100 SO2 analyzer with special software and a Model 501TS high temperature thermal oxidizer. Sulfur compounds are heated as they pass through the converter and oxidized into SO2. When analyzing CO2, which generally contains no oxygen, approximately 6% O2 is added to the sample before entering the converter. This dilution is corrected in the calibration procedure.

The Model T360 CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 2.56 meters.The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample.
