Models with an interchangeable probe input have the wide measurement ranges -100…200 °C, 0…100 %rh with a Rotronic probe selected for the application. Most provide all the psychrometric moisture values such as dew point at the push of a button; they are easy to use with a large display. Included is a model with a fixed probe for making spot-checks in offices, warehouses and museums; a sword handheld is available for the measurement of equilibrium relative humidity (ERH) in the paper and textile industries to ensure the highest product quality. Some handhelds have data logging functions.
