Optical Head Interface

The N7749C optical head interface can control two or four 8162-C series optical power meter heads. Readout is supported over LAN and USB interfaces with a built-in web-browser GUI and the SCPI command set common to Keysight optical power meters.

Functionality includes averaging time settings from 100 s to 10 s, automatic power ranging, monitoring of minimum and maximum values and logging up to 20k samples. Fiber adapters are available for common connector types including MT ribbon fiber connectors and bare fiber clamps.
