This dual scale digital refractometer is equipped with both the Brix and 10440 scales. Although Brix is a measure of sugar concentration, both the Brix scale and the 10440 scale can be used for measuring the concentration of many other fluids such as metalworking fluids, fire retardant chemicals, industrial lubricants, and other industrial chemicals.
