The oxygen analyzers from PST are supplied with solid state ceramic, thermo-paramagnetic or electrochemical oxygen sensors. These highly reliable oxygen analyzers are usually supplied with sample handling panels that are designed for safety critical applications in refinery, hydrocarbon-processing, chemical, pharmaceutical and additive manufacturing processes. We also have analyzers with a separate control unit and the sensor is mounted in or very close to the process. The safety concepts employed are intrinsic safety (IS) and explosion-proof (EXd) cases with flame arrestors and breathers for increased safety. The O2 analyzers from PST offer oxygen sensor technologies such as zirconium dioxide, thermo-paramagnetic and electrochemical. These highly reliable oxygen analyzers provide various installation options such as bench, panel, rack and wall mounting. Whether you are controlling the amount of oxygen for product quality or safety for plant or operator, there is a model to suit your needs. Zirconium dioxide analyzers are particularly useful when the process requires trace levels of oxygen during operation, but can frequently be exposed to air. This technology is not affected by oxygen concentration and has a rapid recovery from air to low ppm O2 levels. Thermo-paramagnetic analyzers offer a very stable measurement of percent level oxygen and have no moving parts or consumable items.

Industrial Gas can be separated into bulk gas, speciality gas and ultra-high purity (UHP) gases. Within the PST Group we have a range of analyzers to measure oxygen as well as other impurities. Our Pico-Ion sensors from AII provide dependable, repeatable oxygen measurements in semiconductor grade UHP gases such as nitrogen (N2), Argon (Ar), helium (He) and hydrogen (H2), with a minimum output range of 0 to 50 ppb O2 (parts per billion) with a lowest detection limit of < 100 ppt O2 (parts per trillion). Even if the gas purity is certified, the transport system from the cylinder to the point of use must be of the highest integrity as there is approximately 210,000 ppm O2 in the atmosphere, so point of use analyzers are recommended. For membrane or (V)PSA separators our Mogas, GPR-3100 or XTP501 analyzers can measure the purity of the oxygen produced.

The combustion control oxygen analyzers from PST utilize zirconia sensors for measuring stack gases on boilers, process heaters, incinerators, crematoria and other high temperature/humidity applications. These highly reliable O2 analyzers are all supplied with direct-insertion probes with various sampling methods. The Oxyflex sensor in mounted on the probe tip and is capable of measuring in small boilers up to 400°C.
