When a direct base station connection is not available, an alternative is to amplify a low level signal off the air into a building or other disadvantaged location. Once amplified, the signals can be used to drive a passive coax and antenna system.
The Signal Booster II+ from Bird provides Public Safety grade signal reliability and coverage in disadvantaged RF locations lacking in critical signal strength. Design innovations have delivered a light, compact design that provides more consistent and powerful signal coverage and amplification than ever before.
Bird SBIII Series Digital Signal Boosters address the requirement to tightly control the frequency or frequencies that need to be received and transmitted. The SBIII series uses Digital Technology that can be programmed through software to manage a signal window as narrow as 6.25 kHz and as wide as 15 MHz for the 700-800 MHz bands and as narrow as 6.25 kHz and as wide as 1.5 MHz for the UHF band.
Bird's primary mission is to ensure that first responders have consistent, reliable radio communications in any type of structure. RescueLine Series RF Signal Boosters are considered to be Public Safety units when the NFPA Option is selected.
Bird’s Passive RF Components complete our end to end DAS product offering with high power handling capability and top performance, enabling the most efficient distribution of RF power through your venue.
