Custom Solar Simulation
-
Atlas Material Testing Solutions
Solar heat load effects are critical with respect to product functionality, operational performance, thermal management, noise and dimensional stability. Therefore, any new product made from different materials and components should be tested under solar environmental conditions representative of those locations in which it will exist - anywhere ranging from the heat of the Australian Outback to the frigid climate of arctic regions.

HMI High-Speed Lighting
-
Atlas Material Testing Solutions
The automotive industry uses various types of crash testing every day to evaluate and improve automotive safety. The application of high-speed photography utilizing two- or three-dimensional test analysis is the current tool of choice. While high-speed cameras have become more sophisticated, they cannot solve all problems facing the photographer. Along with camera optics, light is the most critical element in achieving the best pictures, using the desired frame rate and depth of focus.
