The SCT Series are low cost, miniature, solid state control transformers designed for military and industrial control applications. They will directly replace conventional electromechanical control transformers & thus provide digital control to existing analog servo systems. They simultaneously accept a 3 wire synchro input (0) and a digital angle input (0), and provide an ouput which is the sine of the difference between these two input angles (A sin wt sin (0-0) ("wt" is the synchro excitation frequency).

The TDSM Series are low cost absolute encoders consisting of a size 11 electromagnetic transducer and a 2.6 x 3.1 x .6 conversion module. The outputs available are 12 to 16 bit binary format representing 0 to 359.99 degrees of absolute shaft angle input. The transducer reference supply is also included in the module which is designed for printed circuit mounting. A data transfer and data hold line are provided for simple computer or microprocessor interfacing. These features in addition to the latest digital circuitry techniques, make these encoders the best selection in today's applications where resolutions greater than 10 bits are required with ultra high reliability assured.

The BCD Series of BCD to Binary Converters will convert 4 digits of scaled BCD angle data with a full scale of 359.9degrees into 12 Bits of binary angle data (MSB=180degrees). These units are entirely digital, require no timing or control signals and do this conversion in less than 500 nano-seconds. Logic levels are TTL/DTL compatable and +5V DC power is required. They are packaged in a 2.6 x 3.1 x .82" H PC board mounting module.

The BAC series of Binary to BCD converters will convert binary angle data to 5 digit BCD data scaled in degrees and decimal fractions of degrees. Units with display and/or data outputs are available. Custom scaling of the output to represent actual physical units of measure can be provided easily (i.e.: feet, lbs., meters, mills, etc.) They will also accept encoder outputs and display them at extremely low cost when compared to previous solutions.
