A differential temperature controller as the name suggest, takes two temperature inputs and tries to maintain the difference between these two temperatures as constant. This is widely used in today’s innovation Solar Energy Systems to provide maximum operating efficiency and flexibility. It automatically maintains the difference e.g., In case of self powered solar box furnace or in case of a solar water collector. By automatically switching on a fan or a pump the temperatures can be equalized.

To alert a user when process parameter exceeds the limits is an important function of a data logger. The IM2000 series normally provides alarm relay outputs and the user can have common relay for all channels or can have individual relays for each channel. These channels can be grouped as well. SMS Data Logger / GPRS Data Logger generate a text alarm message as soon as the alarm condition is observed. SMS technology can be used to send periodical process updates as well. Real Time Switch is a real time timer which can be used to switch electrical appliances like street lamps, garden lights, corridor lights, neon signs etc as per time of the day. The timer has built in almanac timings fixed in nonvolatile ram so that the user does not have to programme the unit from time to time. This has added advantage over daily dial or weekly timers. Timer provides two outputs to drive contractors of different ratings. These outputs can be used with different combinations to achieve desired output. Timer is provided with manual override facility. Optional detachable external keyboard unit provided to avoid unauthorized access.
