The 40/42-850A-114-M50-HI is a PXI/PXIe 4-channel multiplexer with FC/PC connectors, includes hardware interlock and is part of Pickering's range of PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching modules. Switching System Test Tools
eBIRST
The eBIRST toolset consists of three different tools that support 200-pin LFH, 78-pin and 50-pin connectors and a set of adaptors that allow connection to other connector types. A supplied application program controls the eBIRST tools via a USB2 port that also provides the tool power and controls the switching system using a Test Definition File to define the test sequence. These tools work by measuring the path resistance at the switching system external connectors using four-wire measurements, quickly establishing whether the path is good, has increased resistance or has failed. PXI single pole matrices each supporting 128 cross points. All models use electromechanical relays. The modules are designed for switching medium voltage and power signals. The user signal connection is via a robust 78, 50 or 37 pin D-Type connector.

The 500-Pin SEARAY connector is used on switching products to provide a very high density 1A connector solution that is suitable for use to 200VDC. This cable assembly is for direct connection to products using the 500-Pin SEARAY connector (not compatible with Pickering products). Unterminated connections are provided at the other end of the cable for a variety of applications. Screwlocks enable the SEARAY connector to be secured to its mating product.

PXI/PXIe RF Matrix, Dual 2x2, 2.5GHz, 75Ω, MCX

The 40-837A-102 (PXI) and 42-837A-102 are 75Ω 2x2 RF matrices with 2 banks in a single slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-837A modules.

The 40-873-002 is a 4 to 1 RF MUX with 2 banks in a single PXI slot. Additionally, extra switching allows unused channels to be terminated into 50 Ohm, maintaining signal integrity. It has been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz.

The 20-Pin GMCT cable assembly is constructed from 19/0.254 (18AWG) Tinned Copper Wire with PFA insulation. Screwlocks are provided to secure the connector to associated product. The unterminated connections are coded to match the connector pin designation. Users may need to make their own cable strain relief arrangements when using this product and should ensure appropriate electrical safety precautions are observed.
