LXI Modular Chassis
Our LXI modular chassis are available in 7-slot or 18-slot and support over 1,000 of our PXI modules, additionally our 2-Slot USB/LXI Chassis allows most of our 1 or 2-slot PXI modules to be controlled via USB or Ethernet. These range from: PXI general purpose relays, matrices, multiplexers and RF switches to special PXI switching functions such as fault/signal insertion. Also supported are a selection of T&M modules such as programmable resistors, digital I/O, power supplies, battery simulators and attenuators.

Pickering Interfaces’ range of 40-784A PXI Microwave Multiplexer Modules have a characteristic impedance of 50Ω and are capable of switching signals up to 40GHz. Available in single, dual or triple, SP6T or SP4T formats, they are suitable for constructing complex microwave switching networks and provide a range of switching configurations to suit most applications. PXI 2A Multiplexer, 2-Bank, 16-Channel, 4-Pole

This 2-bank, 16-channel, 4 pole version is part of the 40-614C High Density 2A multiplexer module range that is available in 20 configurations (see Also in this Range link above). All configurations use high quality electro-mechanical signal relays allowing each channel to switch current up to 2A and voltage up to 300VDC/250VAC.

PXI/PXIe MEMS RF Multiplexer, Dual 4-Channel, 4GHz, 50Ω, MCX

The module is based on the latest micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) switching technology and has low insertion loss and VSWR. In addition, MEMS devices have a long operational life of >3 billion operations and benefit from an operating time of <20 μs allowing greater test system throughput. The multiplexers have excellent and repeatable RF characteristics beyond 4 GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.

The 40/42-153-104-HI is a PXI/PXIe high density power relay module with 18xSPST switches rated at 5A and includes the hardware interlock option. User connection is via a 37-pin D-type male connector, hardware interlock is via a 4-pin 00 series socket (mating plug is supplied). The 40/42-153 range is available in 18, 25, 36 or 50 SPST configurations with or without hardware interlock.

PXI 16x SPST High Voltage Reed Relays

The 40-310/320 Range of High Voltage Switching Modules will hot switch up to 750V peak and cold switch up to 1000V peak in either general purpose relay (40-310) or multiplexer (40-320) configurations. These modules contain high-quality reed relays with switching ratings comfortably higher than the 40-310/320 specification. Applications for the 40-310/320 series modules include; circuit board isolation testing, relay testing, semiconductor breakdown monitoring and cable harness insulation testing.

50-Pin D-Type Connector, Male with Backshell

This connector is designed to allow users to directly terminate with soldered connections to the connector. The cable exit on this accessory is supplied to go downwards when used on a 50-pin D connector with pin 1 at the top. The exit sense can be changed by simply taking off the shell and turning the connector around.

The 40-652-101 is a single 24-channel, 1-pole MUX and is part of our range of multiplexers uses solid state relays with high tolerance to surge currents and hot switching events. These multiplexers provides an isolation relay in the common to minimize capacitive loading when expanding the multiplexer across multiple modules. The 40-652 can sustain 30A for 300µs on hot or cold switching.

PXI Solid State MUX, 1 bank, 160 channel

Based on FET switches, the multiplexers have no wear out mechanism and include fault protection that ensures the multiplexer automatically disconnects when PXI power is not applied. Available configurations for the 40-680 range vary from a single 160 to 1 MUX to a 20-bank, 8 to 1 MUX in a single PXI module.
