They have low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. The switch banks been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz.

The 40/42-158-003 is a PXI/PXIe high density power relay module with 16xSPDT switches rated at 5A. User connection is via a 50-pin SGMC male connector. The 40/42-158 range is available in 8, 16, 24 or 32 SPST configurations with or without hardware interlock. Electro-mechanical power relays are used which are suitable for switching loads up to 5A at 250VAC.

These modules are available in 2, 4 or 8 slot PXI sizes to suit all high-performance matrix requirements and are constructed using instrumentation quality reed relays. With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.
