The 40-785C-422-T (PXI) and 42-785C-422-T (PXIe) are dual SP4T 18GHz microwave multiplexers with automatic termination of unused signals. The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available as single or dual, SP6T or SP4T panel mounted multiplexers with relays mounted on the front panel. The single slot version can support up to three supplied remotely mounted multiplexers.

Accessory allows a user to create their own PCB based termination solution mounted directly on the front of the product or on the end of a cable. Interfacing PCBs should be designed with suitable clearances for the voltage the application requires. 37-Pin Female connectors can be directly mated to a corresponding Pickering Switching Module while Male versions can be used to interface to a Female cable assembly termination.

PXI Remote Control Interface Module

The kit is supplied with a PCIe card which can plug into any PC PCIe slot, this PXI module for insertion into Slot 1 of a PXI chassis and 3m lead to connect the two parts together. The interface uses a single lane PCIe connection from the PC to provide a software transparent link from the PC PCIe backplane to the PXI backplane. The supplied 3m shielded lead ensures the system has robust operation and an adequate separation distance between the PC and the PXI chassis.

The module can be supplied as a single or dual 16-channel 2-pole multiplexer with each signal pair having a controlled 78 Ohm differential impedance.

This connector block provides a simple method of connecting to high density 96-Pin SCSI Style Micro-D BRIC connectors. The screw terminals accept wires up to 20 AWG and use a rising cage screw clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. The metal shell includes an internal insulation barrier under the carrier board.
