Matrix Switch Module
This version of our BRIC is part of a range of high-density PXI matrix modules. These modules are available in 2, 4 or 8-slot PXI sizes to suit all high performance matrix requirements and are constructed using instrumentation quality reed relays. With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

The 40-230-233-HI (PXI) and 42-230-233-HI (PXIe) are programmable resistor modules with 2 channels which can be set between 3.5Ω and 52.4kΩ with 1Ω resolution with maximum voltage of 1.2kV. The 40/42-230 range provides a simple solution for applications requiring voltage handling up to 1kV (9-pin D-type connector) or 1.2kV (22-pin REDEL connector).

Screwlocks enable the SEARAY connector to be secured to its mating product.

The 25-Pin Connector to Unterminated Cable Assy is constructed from PFA insulated 19/0.18 (21AWG) Tinned Copper wire. The connector can be secured to the product by screwlocks. The unterminated connections are coded to match the connector pin designation and include crimped on ferrules to ensure the wire strands cannot break when they are terminated. The 40-780B-512-E (PXI) and 42-780B-512-E (PXIe) are dual failsafe SPDT 12.4 GHz unterminated microwave relay modules with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-780B range is available with one, two, three or four SPDT panel mounted relays capable of switching frequencies up to 67 GHz in 50 Ω or 2.5 GHz in 75 Ω. Connections are made via high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50 Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75 Ω versions. Remote versions can support up to three SPDT relays in a single slot.
