The 40/42-852A-318 is a PXI/PXIe 8-channel multiplexer with MU (mini SC) connectors and is part of Pickering's range of PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching modules. They are available in many high density formats with a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC and SC/PC for general applications and LC and MU for high density applications. They are also available with an optional hardware interlock which, when activated, will return all optical switches to their default unpowered state.

Cable Assembly
This male rear exit to D-type 0.5m long cable assembly is suited for direct connection to all Pickering Interfaces products using the 200-Pin LFH connector. It is constructed from 4 bundles of 50-wire round/flat ribbon cables, terminated with 50-pin female D-type connectors. The connector can be secured to the product by screwlocks. The cable assembly can be used with Pickering's 50-Pin D-Type connector blocks (refer to 90-005D). Each of the four D-type cables is numbered to allow identification.

The 40-780B-521-E (PXI) and 42-780B-521-E (PXIe) are single SPDT 18GHz unterminated microwave relay modules with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-780B range is available with one, two, three or four SPDT panel mounted relays capable of switching frequencies up to 67GHz in 50Ω or 2.5GHz in 75Ω. Connections are made via high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75Ω versions. Remote versions can support up to three SPDT relays in a single slot.
