This version of our BRIC is part of a range of high-density PXI matrix modules. These modules are available in 2, 4 or 8 slot PXI sizes to suit all high-performance matrix requirements and are constructed using instrumentation quality reed relays. With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

PCI High Density Matrix, Single 22x4 2-Pole

The 50-510A series of matrix cards feature a wide range of switching configurations (22x4, dual 20x4, 22x8 and 44x4). Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple cards. Expansion cables are available for the 50-512 and 50-513: The 50-512 can be expanded to 44x8 or the 50-513 can be expanded to 88x4 using two cards linked by the ribbon cable assembly 50-976-020-0.1M. Also the 50-512 can be expanded to 22x16 or the 50-513 can be expanded to 44x8 using two cards linked by the ribbon cable assembly 50-976-050-0.1M.

This female to female 1m cable assembly does not connect directly to Pickering Interfaces products that use the 200-Pin LFH connector, but customers may find it useful in the development of their own connection solutions. It is constructed from 4 bundles of 50-wire round/flat ribbon cable and the connector assemblies can be secured to their mating connectors by male screwlocks.

Quad 4 to 1 50 600MHz PXI RF Multiplexer

This 4 to 1 multiplexer is part of a range of RF multiplexers available in the following configurations: dual, quad and octal 4 to 1, single, dual and quad 8 to 1, single and dual 16 to 1 and single 32 to 1. All multiplexers have the option of automatic terminations which offer advantages at system level by reducing the presence of standing waves in the system which can cause degradation in isolation and crosstalk.

The 40-834A-101 (PXI) and 42-834A-101 (PXIe) are 75 Ohm 8 to 1 RF multiplexers with 1 bank in a single slot. They have been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.

The 40-785C-443-E (PXI) and 42-785C-443-E (PXIe) are triple SP4T 40GHz unterminated microwave multiplexers with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available as single or dual, SP6T or SP4T panel mounted multiplexers with relays mounted on the front panel. The single slot version can support up to three supplied remotely mounted multiplexers.
