LXI Wideband Modular Matrix Chassis
65-110A-001
This module matrix chassis offers you a solution that can be easily re-configured by the insertion and removal of sub-cards. It is purchased as an empty chassis with a baseboard and quantity of sub-cards initially required. As your requirements evolve, additional cards can be easily fitted. When new cards are added, the control software automatically detects the new configuration.

The 60-801-412 is a 6-channel, 12-bank RF multiplexer suitable for switching 50Ω signals up to 40GHz. It is part of Pickering Interfaces’ range of LXI Microwave Multiplexers which are available with bandwidths between 6GHz and 40GHz and support for 4, 8 12 or 16 banks of 4 or 6-channel multiplexers. It is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA or SMA-2.9 connectors.

The 40-252-111 is a programmable resistor module with 2 channels which can be set between 1Ω and 62.1Ω with 0.25Ω resolution The 40-252 range provides a simple solution for applications requiring up to 5W of power handling per channel. The 40-252 is available in a variety of resistance ranges and resolution capabilities that meet the needs of most functional test systems. Each channel is able to simulate short or open circuit conditions that can be experienced in a system caused by faulty wiring or sensors.

The 40-870A-006 (PXI) and 42-870A-006 (PXIe) are 50Ω RF switches with 6 separate SPDT relays in a single slot. They have low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. The switch banks been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of the 40/42-870A has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

They are also available in a range of bank sizes with 1 or 2 poles and channel counts between 4 and 48. High quality reed relays are used throughout.

The 40/42-166-201 is a PXI/PXIe high density power relay module with 3xSP4T switches rated at 20A. The 40/42-166 range is available with SPST, SPDT or SP4T switching configurations. It uses power relays which are suitable for switching loads up to 20A at 240VAC (SPDT & SP4T versions) or 30A at 277VAC (SPST versions).

The 40-787 Microwave BRIC platform is designed to provide a solution for complex RF matrix applications. Using a common mechanical platform the module can be constructed to provide scalable non-blocking or blocking microwave matrix for frequencies to at least 20GHz. The standard configurations provide up to a 4x4 matrix. More complex matrix can be constructed by adding further switching functions and other devices inside the module.

With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.
