The 40-832A-101 (PXI) and 42-832A-101 are 75 Ohm 4 to 1 RF multiplexers with 1 bank in a single slot. They have been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The design of the 40/42-832A minimizes the injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal path by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

Cable Assembly 15-Pin D-Type, Male to Unterminated With Ferrules, 0.5m

The 15 Pin Connector to Unterminated Cable Assy is constructed from PFA insulated 21 AWG Tinned Copper Wire. The connector can be secured to the associated product by screwlocks. The unterminated connections are coded to match the connector pin designation and include crimped on ferrules to ensure the wire strands cannot break when they are terminated. When using this product additional cable strain relief arrangements may be necessary and appropriate electrical safety precautions should be observed.

PXI Prototyping and Breadboard Modules
The breadboard modules with digital I/O (the 40-220A series) allow the user to construct their own circuit in situations where a PXI module is not available. For example when it is required to integrate a non-switching function into a PXI chassis. Typical applications include creating custom circuitry that can be housed on a 3U board or to build special “one-off” switching modules.
