LXI Video Matrices
Pickering's LXI Video matrices are suitable for switching frequencies up to 25MHz. They have a characteristic impedance of 75 with the option of mini SMB or MCX connectors, or with a larger case size BNC connectors. Designed to provide a simple and scalable bidirectional matrix for video frequencies and is intended for the easy construction of high-performance bidirectional matrix switching systems.

The 500-Pin SEARAY connector is used on switching products to provide a very high density 2A connector solution that is suitable for use to 200VDC. This cable assembly is suitable for direct connection to Pickering Interfaces products using the 500-Pin SEARAY connector. Screwlocks are provided to secure the cable assembly to a mating product.

Our 60-803-508 is a 8 bank terminated SP4T multiplexer and is part of a range of LXI based microwave multiplexers suitable for switching 50 ohm signals up to 40GHz. The 60-803 range is capable of supporting up to 14 banks of terminated 4 channel multiplexers it is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA, SMA-2.9, SMA-2.4 or SMA-1.85 connectors.

This connector block provides a simple method of connecting to high density 96-Pin SCSI Style Micro-D BRIC connectors. The screw terminals accept wires up to 20 AWG and use a rising cage screw clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. The metal shell includes an internal insulation barrier under the carrier board.

The 40-873A-002 (PXI) and 42-873A-002 (PXIe) are 4 to 1 RF multiplexers with 2 banks in a single slot. Additionally, extra switching allows unused channels to be terminated into 50 Ohm, maintaining signal integrity. It has been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz.

These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

PXI Dual 16x8 Matrix, 1 Pole Switching

This high-density reed relay matrix with 256 crosspoints. This model is configured as a Dual 16x8, model 40-531 is configured as a 32x8. Both modules are available in a choice of reed relay formats: 1-pole, 2-pole and 1-Pole screened. The screened version can be used for switching coaxial signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisition systems. These PXI matrix modules are constructed using high reliability Sputtered Ruthenium Reed Relays, offering 109 operations to give maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance.

PXI Microwave Switch Modules
Pickering's PXI Microwave Switch Modules vary from simple multiplexer and switch configurations to integrated matrices and large multiplexers. Most products are characterized for 50 operation however certain 75 versions are supplied either as standard or custom products. Remote versions occupy a single PXI slot with the microwave switches mounted separately from the host chassis, connection to the module is via a supplied control cable.
