PXI/PXIe LVDT, RVDT, Resolver Simulator Modules
Linear variable differential transformers (LVDT) are electrical transformer sensors to measure linear displacement. Driven by an AC excitation source, the LVDT generates a pair of AC output signals modulated according to the core's mechanical position (displacement). LVDTs have been widely used in applications such as power turbines, hydraulics, automation, aircraft, satellites, nuclear reactors, and many others. These transducers have low hysteresis and excellent repeatability.

Our 60-803-605 is a 5 bank SP4T multiplexer and is part of a range of LXI based microwave multiplexers suitable for switching 50 ohm signals up to 50GHz. The 60-803 range is capable of supporting up to 16 banks of 4 channel multiplexers it is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA, SMA-2.9, SMA-2.4 or SMA-1.85 connectors.

Our model 40-586A, along with the following models40-584, 40-585, 40-587Aare high-density single pole PXI matrices each supporting 256 crosspoints. All models use gold-plated contact electromechanical relays. The PXI matrix modules are designed for switching medium voltage and power signals. The user signal connection is via a robust 78, 50 or 37 pin D-Type or 160 pin DIN 41612 connector that is fully supported by the wide range of our cable and connector accessories.

The product is purchased as an assembled chassis, baseboard and the quantity of plugin modules initially required. This version of our BRIC is part of a range of high-density PXI matrix modules. These modules are available in 2, 4 or 8-slot PXI sizes to suit all high performance matrix requirements and are constructed using instrumentation quality reed relays. With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

The 40-265 range consists of 6, 4 or 2 channel modules (this version is the 2-channel, 3kΩ) that simulate the operation of a range of strain gauges making it ideal for testing strain gauge meters and a wide variety of industrial control systems. The range provides a simple way of replacing in house developed sensors with a low cost simulator having excellent performance. The 40-265 uses the same resistor bridge techniques that real life strain gauges are based on, ensuring accurate emulation under all conditions.

The 40-780B-751-E (PXI) and 42-780B-751-E (PXIe) are single failsafe SPDT 2.5 GHz 75 Ω unterminated microwave relay modules with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-780B range is available with one, two, three or four SPDT panel mounted relays capable of switching frequencies up to 67 GHz in 50 Ω or 2.5 GHz in 75 Ω. Connections are made via high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50 Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75 Ω versions. Remote versions can support up to three SPDT relays in a single slot.

The 40/42-852A-518-M62.5 is a PXI/PXIe 8-channel multiplexer with ST connectors and is part of Pickering's range of PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching modules. They are available in many high density formats with a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC and SC/PC for general applications and LC and MU for high density applications. They are also available with an optional hardware interlock which, when activated, will return all optical switches to their default unpowered state.
