Targeting EV, automotive, aerospace, energy storage and electric aircraft applications, the new battery simulator modules occupy a single PXI slot. These 4-channel battery simulators are capable of supplying up to 7 V and 300 mA per channel. PXI/PXIe 1000Base-T1 Dual Multiplexer With Fault Insertion, Single Channel

The 40-204-001(PXI) and 42-204-001 (PXIe) are single channel differential multiplexers designed to simulate common faults on high-speed two wire communication interfaces such as 1000Base-T1. They are available with support for 1 or 2-channels of two wire serial interfaces. Each channel pair can be looped out to external equipment or the switches can be used simulate a channel open fault. Using the fault bus, switches can simulate a short between both wires or a short to one of two externally applied fault conditions – such as battery supply or ground - via two fault buses.

This slimline version of the VHDCI connector is designed to allow users to directly terminate a cable with soldered connections to the 68 Way VHDCI connector. It is difficult to terminate cable to the 68 pin VHDCI because of the high density and fine pitch. Pickering Interfaces recommends the use of purchased cable assemblies for applications where most or all of the contacts are in use.
