The 60-801-201 is a 6-channel, 1-bank RF multiplexer suitable for switching 50Ω signals up to 18GHz. It is part of Pickering Interfaces’ range of LXI Microwave Multiplexers which are available with bandwidths between 6GHz and 40GHz and support for 4, 8 12 or 16 banks of 4 or 6-channel multiplexers. It is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA or SMA-2.9 connectors.

PXI/PXIe MEMS RF Multiplexer, Dual 4-Channel, 4GHz, 50Ω, SMB

The module is based on the latest micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) switching technology and has low insertion loss and VSWR. In addition, MEMS devices have a long operational life of >3 billion operations and benefit from an operating time of <20 μs allowing greater test system throughput. The multiplexers have excellent and repeatable RF characteristics beyond 4 GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.

The 40-670 multiplexer may be operated as a conventional multiplexer with break-before-make action when a new channel is selected. In addition multiple channels may be simultaneously selected (not available in 1 pole mode).

Typical applications include signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. Connections are made via a front panel 200-pin connector.Inter-bank linking relays allow multiplexer size to be increased in multiples of in multiples of three by joining the common terminals of adjacent banks. Closing one linking switch produces a 6-channel multiplexer, closing all linking switches produces an 54-channel multiplexer
