The 40-145/46/48 range of high density switching modules are available in Normally Open (SPST & DPST) and changeover (SPDT) configurations. Connections are made via a front panel 200 pin female connector. General purpose relays are suitable for the construction of small switching networks, I/O port switching, for slave switching larger relays or for operating external devices (e.g. lamps, solenoids etc.).

With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.

Users may need to make their own cable strain relief arrangements when using this product and should ensure appropriate electrical safety precautions are observed.

PXI Single 32x8 Matrix, 1 Pole Screened

Model 40-531 very high density matrix modules are configured as a 32x8, while the 40-532 modules are configured as a Dual 16x8. Both modules are available in a choice of reed relay formats: 1-pole, 2-pole and 1-Pole screened. The screened version is suitable for switching coaxial signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in Functional ATE and data acquisition systems. These PXI matrix modules are constructed using high reliability Sputtered Ruthenium Reed Relays, offering 109 operations to give maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance.

The 40-785C-533-E (PXI) and 42-785C-533-E (PXIe) are triple failsafe SP6T 26.5 GHz unterminated microwave multiplexers with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available in single or dual, SP6T or SP4T configurations with relays mounted on the front panel. Remote versions are also available which can support up to three multiplexers in a single slot.

160 Pin DIN Connector & Cable Accessories
The 160 Pin DIN connector is used on switching products to provide a high density 2A connector solution. If you would like to develop your own cabling solutions, we offer mating connectors and connector hoods that allow you to create either your own cable based solutions, or a PCB header solution. Connector Blocks directly terminate the module connector and convert the connection to arrays of screw terminal blocks, or you can select to use a remote DIN rail mounted breakout to terminate the cables at the end of a cable assembly.
