The 40-670C-021-49/2 is a 49-channel, 2-pole MUX and is part of a series of very high density multiplexer modules featuring a wide range of switching configurations. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. The 40-670 multiplexer may be operated as a conventional multiplexer with break-before-make action when a new channel is selected.In addition multiple channels may be simultaneously selected (not available in 1 pole mode).

Pickering PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching cards are available in many high density formats with a choice of 5 different connector styles to suit most applications: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC and SC/PC for general applications and LC and MU for high density applications. Fiber optic multiplexers create a signal path by redirecting the optical signal into a selected output fiber. This is achieved using Micro-Mechanical Mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism and activated via an electrical control signal.

The 40-787 Microwave BRIC platform is designed to provide a solution for complex RF matrix applications. Using a common mechanical platform the module can be constructed to provide scalable non-blocking or blocking microwave matrix for frequencies to at least 20GHz. The standard configurations provide up to a 4x4 matrix. More complex matrix can be constructed by adding further switching functions and other devices inside the module.

With this high level of switching density, these PXI matrix modules allow a complete Functional ATE system to be housed in a single 3U PXI chassis. These BRIC matrix modules allow the use of lower cost 8 or 14-slot PXI chassis.
