Single 4x4 1-Pole 16 Amp PXI Power Matrix

The 40-552 range of 16 Amp PXI power matrix modules is available in four configurations with matrix sizes of 8x2 and 4x4 and the ability to expand the matrix size with the Y-Axis loop-thru connections: e.g. 8x4, 12x4, 16x4, etc. (with 4x4 matrices) or 16x2, 24x2, 32x2, etc. (with 8x2 matrices). This range is capable of switching up to 16 Amps and up to 300VDC/250VAC hot switching and 400VDC/250VAC cold switching. These PXI power matrix modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors, and solenoids.

It is ideal for applications requiring fast operation and a long service life with frequent switch operations at high currents and voltages. The Pickering Interfaces 40-331/332 High Voltage Power Multiplexer and Matrix Modules are suitable for applications requiring high voltage power relay switching with high density. They feature current handling up to 5A, 1000VDC/1000VDC peak cold switching and 110VDC/250VAC hot switching. The 40-331 is available as a single 24:1, dual 12:1, quad 6:1, hex 4:1, octal 3:1 or twelve 2:1 multiplexer, and the 40-332 is available in 12x2 or 6x4 matrix configurations. Connections are made via a front panel mounted 37 pin high voltage D-Type connector.

The 16A 20-Pin GMCT cable assembly is constructed from 19/0.41 (14AWG) Copper Wire with PFA 500V insulation. Screwlocks are provided to secure the connector to associated product. The unterminated connections are coded to match the connector pin designation and include crimped on ferrules to ensure the wire strands cannot break when they are terminated.
