With OndoSense radar sensors, you can measure the fill level in the melting furnace or crucible contact-free with sub-millimeter accuracy – even at metal temperatures of up to 1600 degrees Celsius. A high-precision, continuous level measurement in the melting furnace is required in particular for the recycling of scrap metal such as aluminum, steel or copper.
