Tx/Rx SignalBlade
This ATCA compatible test card offers the flexibility to verify the performance of Advanced TCA fabric and base channels. The set of four Transmit pairs and four Receive pairs allows access to a full channel's eight pairs for backplane path characterization. The card includes a HM-ZD connector segment for access to the backplane and edge-launch SMA connectors for ease of test cable attachment. DC blocking capacitors are included on the receive pairs as required by Advanced TCA.

ThermalBlade
This ATCA compatible design offers the flexibility to verify the power and thermal characteristics of your Advanced TCA chassis, logic cards and backplane designs. Emulating typical application component heights and features, airflow resistance and enclosure power dissipation can be evaluated and analyzed. A variety of power conditions can be selected and controlled independently to meet your design needs. Maximum sustainable watts are 450 with three switches turned on. Watts are dissipated throughout the entire ThermalBlade equally.

Edge-launch SMA connectors are utilized for ease of test cable attachment. SMT pads are included on the receive pairs.

This ATCA compatible design offers the flexibity to verify the thermal characteristics of your Advanced TCA chassis, logic cards and backplane designs. Used in conjunction with the ThermalBlade the RTM emulates a typical rear mounted logic card. Application component heights and features, airflow resistance and enclosure power dissipation can be evaluated and analyzed.Maximum sustainable watts are 113 with two switches turned on. Watts are dissipated throughout the entire RTM ThermalBlade equally.

F9 Systems CalBlade
The CalBlade backplane calibration fixture isdesigned to permit accurate and convenient impedance and transmission measurements of a HM-Zd backplane. The CalBlade is used to calibratethe logic card connector interface to the backplane rather than to the usual far-end of the coaxial measurement cables. Very accurate impedance, skew and propagation delay measurements are possible since parasitic fixturing effects are removed.
