The PCI592 is based on the Xilinx XCKU115 Kintex UltraScale FPGA, which provides 5,520 DSP slices, 75.9 Mb RAM and 1,451,000 logic cells. The FPGA interfaces directly to the FMC+ DP-23 and all FMC+ LA/HA/HB pairs, making it compatible with a wide range of industry standard VITA 57 modules. It also has interface to three DDR4 memory channels (2x 64-bit wide and 1x 32-bit wide). This allows for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host. The unit has x8 PCIe edge connector routed to the FPGA PCIe Gen3 hard IP block. In addition, 16 uncommitted connection pairs are routed to a dual x8 expansion connector, providing direct connectivity to a neighbouring FPGA (e.g. via Aurora, 10G/40G, SRIO, PCIe) without the need to go through the host.

The AMC730 is a a 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) AdvancedMCTM(AMC) module which includes an on-board line rate multi-core packet processor based on Cavium CN63XX CPU. VadaTech offers this product in a mid size (full size optional) form factor with the AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.4 specifications. The AMC730 is based around the Cavium OCTEON CN63xx processor which has been specifically designed to intelligently process Ethernet packets at line rate.The processor can be loaded via the PCIe/SRIO interface or via an optional flash memory. The number of processor cores, speed grade, and amount of DDR3 memory is customizable based on customer needs. The module has 2GB of HFA for pattern matching for deep packet inspection, etc. The SDK for the processor as well as additional software stacks are available from Cavium or third party.

The module is ideal for data flow management within a chassis. The PCIe/SRIO interface is configurable as Host or Agent mode. The PCIe option runs as x4 while the SRIO can run as x4 or dual x1. The VadaTech UTC003 is the most feature-rich MCH (MicroTCA Carrier Hub) for the Conduction Cooled μTCA chassis in the market. It’s management software is based on VadaTech’s proven Carrier Manager and Shelf Manager. The MCMC manages the power modules, the two CU (Cooling Units) and up to 12 AMCs within the μTCA chassis. It also interfaces to and manages the on-board fabric interfaces. The module is available with PCIe, SRIO, 10GbE Layer 3 managed, and GbE Layer 2 managed. The UTC003 runs Linux 2.6 on it’s MCMC CPU and is hot-swappable and fully redundant when used in conjunction with a second instance of the module. The firmware is HPM.1 compliant which allows for ease of upgrade. The UTC003 provides Fabric (100 Mhz HCSL) clock to each AMC.

The PCI325 is an RS-422 synchronous/asynchronous multiport serial adapter. The module can accept a clock input to synchronize the baud rate generators of each port to an external clock. All the protocol management overhead is taken care of in the hardware so that the host CPU is offloaded from managing the detailed serial protocol. An I/O breakout box may be connected to the high-density connectors of the PCI325 to provide multiple DB25, DB9, or other serial connectors for easy integration to your system or an octopus-style breakout cable may be used. The I/O breakout box may include many different status LEDs which can be tailored to your protocol/application. The PCI325 provides the breakout box with power so that it does not require any additional power cabling
