PCIe Oscilloscope Software Triggering and Decoding
The R&S®RTO2000,; R&S®RTO6 and R&S®RTP; oscilloscopes support triggering and decoding of PCI Express Gen 1.1 and 2.0 signals. In addition, the R&S®RTP supports Gen 3.0 signals. Users can set up decoding in seconds via the intuitive menu dialogs. For detailed analysis, results can be viewed as color-coded telegrams and/or in a table. They can be used in diverse applications, e.g. in the automotive sector with distance radars, in astronomy with sophisticated telescopes and in radar interferometry for analyzing the earth’s surface.The frequency multipliers are available in the R&S®SMZ75 (from 50 GHz to 75 GHz), R&S®SMZ90 (from 60 GHz to 90 GHz), R&S®SMZ110 (from 75 GHz to 110 GHz) and R&S®SMZ170 (from 110 GHz to 170 GHz) models. An optional attenuator (available for R&S®SMZ75, R&S®SMZ90 and R&S®SMZ110) can be integrated in the same housing as the frequency multiplier, simplifying handling. The R&S®SMM100A vector signal generator provides remarkably good RF characteristics across the entire frequency range from 100 kHz to 44 GHz. The instrument covers the bands below 6 GHz used by existing wirelessstandards as well as the newly defined bands for 5G NR FR1 and Wi-Fi 6E up to 7.125 GHz and the 5G NR FR2 bands up to 44 GHz.The internal baseband generator in the R&S®SMM100A supports a maximum RF modulation bandwidth of 1 GHz.
