The SparkFun BME688 Environmental Sensor is a breakout that combines a gas scanning sensor with temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure sensing for a complete environmental sensor in a single package. The gas sensor on the BME688 can detect a wide variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs), and other gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the part per billion (ppb) range. Combine that with precise temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure and the BME688 can work as a completely standalone environmental sensor all in a 1in. x 1in. breakout!

The MS8607 from TE is an impressive combination pressure, humidity, temperature (PHT) sensor with accuracy of ±2mbar pressure, ±3% humidity, and ±1°C. Perfect for sensing general weather conditions the MS8607 really shines for high altitude, low pressure applications. Capable of sensing down to 10mbar, this pressure sensor separates itself from many other I2C pressure sensors like the BME280. The MS8607 is simple to use and gives the user some very powerful readings with very little power and conversion time.

This is the SparkFun Decade Resistance Box, an involved PTH soldering kit that allows you to quickly and accurately dial in a specific resistance value between 0 and 999,990 Ω, in 10 Ω increments. The concept is simple, a decade box is a tool that contains resistors of many values that can be accessed via mechanical switches. All you need to do is just adjust the knobs to output any of the discrete resistances offered by the box. Once assembled, each kit will have controls that correspond to the digits in a decimal number - a control for the tens position, a control for the hundreds position, and so on.

The TMP102 is an easy-to-use digital temperature sensor from Texas Instruments. The TMP102 breakout allows you to easily incorporate the digital temperature sensor into your project. While some temperature sensors use an analog voltage to represent the temperature, the TMP102 uses the I2C bus of the Arduino to communicate the temperature. Needless to say, this is a very handy sensor that doesn't require much setup.

This is a breakout board for the SP3485 RS-485 transceiver IC, which will convert a UART serial stream to RS-485. The SP3485 is a half-duplex transceiver, so it can only communicate one way at a time, but it can reach transmission speeds of up to 10Mbps. This board requires a very low amount of power and can operate from a single +3.3VDC supply.

Detecting temperature changes has never been easier. The MCP9700 is a small thermistor type temperature sensor. This sensor will output 0.5V at 0 degrees C, 0.75V at 25 C, and 10mV per degree C. Doing an analog to digital conversion on the signal line will allow you to establish the local ambient temperature. Detect physical touch based on body heat and ambient conditions with this small sensor.
