VFID - Video Format Identifier The Video Format Identifier, Model VFID, determines the input video format, either NTSC/EIA or PAL. The input video can be composite color or black and white. The input video is looped through the unit on the rear panel with BNC connectors. If there is no video present, the red led labeled NONE will illuminate. If the video input is NTSC/EIA, then the green led labeled NTSC will light and similarly if PAL video, the green led labeled PAL will light. The input is high impedance and must be terminated into a 75 ohm load at the end of the transmission line cable.
SVDA10 - S-Video Distribution AmplifierModel The GEKCO Video Distribution Amplifier Model SVDA10. The SVDA10 is a 1 input 4 output low cost high performance, DA for general S-video distribution applications. The Y and C gain is adjustable plus or minus 3 db from the front panel. This unit can distribute the output of a VCR or other S-Video source to Switchers, Routers, Monitors and other VCRs while maintaining excellent picture quality.

source to Switchers, Routers, Monitors and other VCRs while maintaining excellent picture
SRO10 - Subcarrier Reference Oscillator The Video Subcarrier Reference Oscillator, SRO10, is a versatile tool to generate a constant signal locked to the incoming video color burst. This tool can be used for color burst frequency accuracy analysis on any video source using a frequency counter. It can also be used as a calibration reference for your frequency counter utilizing a broadcast video reference source. The F.C.C. specification for Broadcast NTSC color burst is 3.579545 MHz, +/- 10 Hz.
VDTR1 - VIDEO DETECTOR/SWITCH The VDTR1, Video Detector and Switch, will detect the loss of video on the A input and automatically switch to the B input. The video detector is based on digital signal processing of the A input sync signal. If the A input has excessive noise, missing or intermittent for over 100mS the switch will occur. Momentary losses for less than 100mS are ignored.
ATD1 - Audio Tone Generator and Detector This unit has two seperate sections, a 2 channel audio oscillator generator and a dual tone detector receiver. One audio oscillator operates at 1000 Hz and the other at 2000 Hz. The receiver side will accept a audio input and detect if there is a 1KHz or 2KHz tone. When 1KHz is detected the output connector will have the pins 1 and 2 connected together through a relay. Also if a 2 KHz tone is detected then pins 1 and 3 will be connected.
VG10 - Multi-Functional Video/Audio Test Generator The VG10 is a low cost Television Test Signal Generator well suited for maintenance and alignment of video equipment in most television, cable or video production environments. This design takes advantage of large scale integration, which provides you with a low cost, high quality video generator, and passes the savings on to you.
Model VG1 - Video Test Generator This extremely low cost, video generator produces a complete color composite video signal. The video pattern is a full field 7 bar pattern (EIA type color bars) or the unit can be adjusted to provide any full field color desirable even color black. The output video level is adjustable to a nominal 1V p-p into a 75 ohm load. This design has a sync generator, video pattern generator, color encoder and power supply sections. The encoder section can be used alone for converting computer video graphics in the CGA mode to composite color video.
