  • Wavelength Division Multiplexing

    WDM - AC Photonics, Inc.

Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) involves transmitting signals at different wavelengths through the same fiber. ACP offers WDMs using both fused and thin-film technologies.

  • Multi-channel Optical Power Meter For Swept Test System

    MPM-210HMPM-211, 212, 213, 215 - Santec Corporation

Our MPM-210H is ideal for IL, WDL and PDL measurement of multi-port optical components including Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), Arrayed Waveguide Gratings(AWG) , Wavelength Selective Switches (WSS) and more. When combined with our TSL-Series laser equipped with a power monitor output, the MPM-210H allows the user to complete real-time high precision IL measurements.

  • Optical Transceiver Modules

    Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.

Optical transceiver modules are used in high-speed optical communication systems that require high performance, compact package, and low power consumption. Optical transmission/reception functions are implemented in pluggable modules. These optical transceiver modules comply with various international standard specifications at communication speeds ranging up to more than 100 Gbps. Wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM/DWDM) products for large-capacity traffic are also available.

  • Multiplexers (MUX)

    WDM - IXI Technology

It is highly desirable to reduce the number of cables required to communicate between spaces on Navy ships due to increased weight, cost and maintenance concerns. To reduce weight and expense, copper-based NTDS parallel and serial type cables can be converted to fiber optic and multiplexed using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology. WDM technology allows for multiple fiber optic wavelengths to be combined in a single fiber and then separated back to individual fibers at the distant end. Using Coarse WDM (CWDM) which utilizes wavelengths 20nm apart ranging from 1271 nm to 1611 nm, provides for up to 18 optical wavelengths to be combined into a single fiber. Optionally Dense WDM (DWDM) can be used allowing for up to 160 optical wavelengths.

  • Tunable Laser Source Module

    Keysight Technologies

Keysight's has a wide range of tunable laser sources to fit your needs for various applications. In addition to the proven 81600B tunable laser source family, Keysight recently introduced a new family of tunable laser sources - the 8160xx family. The 8160xx tunable laser sources offer the full wavelength range from 1260 nm to 1650 nm with no wavelength gaps. All 8160xx tunable laser sources are modules for the Keysight 8164B lightwave measurement system mainframe. This provides test instrumentation with maximum flexibility. Investing in the Keysight 8160xx family of tunable laser sources can realize the cost efficiency and performance required to test components for coarse and dense wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM, DWDM) and passive optical networks (PON).
