The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model DPM” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. This substitution allows the voltmeter to take “structure-to-structure” potential difference readings. The voltmeter offers two ranges, ±2VDC and ±20VDC with a 20MΩ input impedance. The PT-1 provides a simple and easy way to determine the relative polarity of coil windings. It allows for an in-process test that takes a minimum of time to perform. By placing a coil on the platform and making connection to the start and end of a winding, a test signal is induced in the winding. The induced signal is low level and completely safe for the operator. By comparing the test signal phase of the coil under the test output, the relative polarity is indicated by the Red/Green LED. The tester operates by inducing a signal voltage in the coil under test by means of a magnetic flux field. The field is generated by a coil located in the probe base. The coil configuration is designed to provide optimum field distribution. We have also applied this basic circuit to a 5-channel scanning unit.

The earth tester determines ground resistance for both specific and ohm resistances. The earth tester is powered by batteries and have a clock timer function (3 minutes), Data-Hold function, a 3 ½ positions LCD display and their dimensions are 163 x 100 x 50 mm. Resistance ranges come from 20, 200 to 2000 ohms. They have a resolution of 10 / 100 mΩ / 1 Ω. The earth tester measure resistance by means of a constant reverse current (approx. 800 Hz, 2 mA). To measure ground voltage a rectifier is used (5 kΩ/V aprox. 40...500 Hz). The earth tester PKT-2630 series have a small format as well as multiple functions.

Among other things, solar array simulators are required for testing satellite power supplies. An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources. Additional circuitry is implemented via project-specific test modules.
