The 2960AR has a rubidium timebase and provides two 10MHz and one 5MHz sine wave outputs. The 2965AR has a rubidium timebase and provides one 10MHz, one 5MHz and one signal generator output. The signal generator output uses Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology and is programmable from 100Hz to 50MHz via an RS232 serial interface. Both models can be disciplined by a 1pps input signal and provide a 1pps output. The 1pps input is typically provided by the GPS Frequency output from a device like a smart GPS receiver or antenna. Passive Probes
Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a /10 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MOhm. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized.
