  • Platinum RTD Sensor - PT100 - 3 Wire 1 meter long

    Adafruit

For precision temperature sensing, nothing beats a Platinum RTD. Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are temperature sensors that contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes, basically a kind of thermistor. In this sensor, the resistor is actually a small strip of Platinum with a resistance of 100 ohms at 0C, thus the name PT100. Compared to most NTC/PTC thermistors, the PT type of RTD is much most stable and precise (but also more expensive) PT100's have been used for many years to measure temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have developed a reputation for accuracy (better than thermocouples), repeatability, and stability.

  • SparkFun IR Array Breakout

110 Degree FOV, MLX90640 (Qwiic) - SparkFun Electronics

It's time to say hip hip array for this IR Breakout! The MLX90640 SparkFun IR Array Breakout is equipped with a 32x24 array of thermopile sensors creating, in essence, a low resolution thermal imaging camera. With this breakout you can detect surface temperatures from many feet away with an accuracy of ±1.5°C (best case). To make it even easier to get your low-resolution infrared image, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

  • SparkFun Qwiic Thermocouple Amplifier

MCP9600 (Screw Terminals) - SparkFun Electronics

The MCP9600 Breakout is a high accuracy Thermocouple Amplifier equipped with an I2C interface, accessed over our Qwiic system. Inside the chip are two temperature sensors, one for the thermocouple itself (the hot junction) and one for the chip itself (the cold junction). As a result, the MCP9600 can read both the ambient temperature and the temperature of whatever you're trying to measure! The MCP9600 can do both with a resolution of 0.0625°C, and an accuracy of ±1.5°C (worst-case). The MCP9600 Thermocouple Amplifier is one of our many Qwiic compatible boards! Simply plug and go. No soldering, no figuring out which is SDA or SCL, and no voltage regulation or translation required!

  • Tactical Video Data Link

    Elbit Systems of America®

Tactical Video Data Link (TVDL) is a video and data receiver/transmitter system specially designed for attack helicopters. This compact and lightweight system, weighing less than 4 kg, enables real-time, high-quality video imagery and data captured by UAV payloads or ground-based sensors to be displayed directly to the aircrew. This saves the need for lengthy radio dialogue by creating a common visual language amongst all forces in the battlespace and dramatically shortening the sensor-to-shooter loop. As a true video relay, the system can simultaneously transmit video and data as well as deliver imagery captured by onboard payloads to tactical forces for enhanced coordination and battle management.

  • Target simulators

    Inframet

Simat simulator is an advanced hardware simulator capable to simulate in infrared range several targets on quasi uniform background. In detail Simat simulator is a modular image projector capable to simulate in infrared range variable intensity, variable angular size, variable spectrum, spatially and temporally dynamic airborne type targets on quasi uniform background. Basically the aim of Simat to enable simulation typical airborne targets like aircrafts or helicopters for infrared imaging sensors used for surveillance of these targets. Optionally Simat can be modernized to enable simulation in both IR and UV/visible ranges as the projectors are built using broadband reflective optical elements.

  • Test Equipment

    Southern Photonics Ltd

Southern Photonics designed and manufactured all the test equipment currently being manufactured by Coherent Solutions, as well as equipment for non-telecoms applications. This includes FBG strain interrogators, optical pulse phase analysers, OSNR meters, optical power meters, optical spectrum analysers, optical gas sensors… you get the idea. All test equipment we build is robust and easy to use. The picture shows some of what we can do – anything from prototype benchtop test gear (as in the combination ASE source and laser combiner on top of the stack) to field test equipment (the portable fast OSA on the bottom).

  • Voltage Input Module For Remote I/O

    NI

The Voltage Input Module for Remote I/O features 2-, 3-, and 4-wire spring terminal connection methods, a built-in power supply for sensors, four selectable input ranges, and simultaneous sampling. A remote I/O system consists of an EtherCAT bus coupler and individual modules mounted on a DIN rail. You control the Voltage Input Module for Remote I/O from a real-time controller, such as a CompactRIO Controller or an Industrial Controller. You can use remote I/O hardware to add low-cost I/O for simple tasks while your controller handles advanced tasks such as image processing, motion control, and high-speed or specialty measurements.
