  • Thermal Analysis

    Anton Paar GmbH

The TORC (Thermo-optical Oscillating Refraction Characterization) technique applies decades of know-how in optical instrumentation to thermal analysis in a novel and unique way. The technique requires minimal sample preparation at maximal tolerance for sample properties. You can determine the coefficient of thermal expansion, glass and phase transitions as well as polymerization for various samples: liquids, gels, pastes, and certain solids. For example: cured and uncured resins, adhesives, glues, etc. can easily be characterized. Both thermal and time-dependent processes can be monitored with minimal effort.

  • Application Specific LC Systems

    Nexera-e - Shimadzu Corp.

The comprehensive 2D-LC methodology is a paradigm shift in liquid chromatography separation analysis. By combining two independent separation modes orthogonally in combination with a dual-loop/dual-valve alternate switching design, the highest possible peak capacity is achieved for LC chromatography separation. The new Nexera-e enables separation of even the most complex mixtures, providing a new level of knowledge and understanding of sample analytes. This is especially beneficial to the analysis of pharmaceutical impurities, proteolytic digests, food extracts, natural products and synthetic polymers.

  • Software

    ThreeParticle - Becker 3D GmbH

Imagine 3D simulation would be easy to learn in a few days, entry barriers would be minimal, and applications almost limitless. This is already a reality with our revolutionary ThreeParticle ™ software . In a single simulation platform, the Discrete Element Method (DEM) can be used to simulate multi-physical systems with complex particle shapes, including multi-body dynamics (MBS), structural mechanics (FEM) and liquids (CFD) - without coupling to external packages. The simple and intuitive operation via a new user interface is the daily routine of simulation.

For even greater automation and higher throughput, microplate stackers, handlers and automated incubators transform a benchtop instrument into a walk away automated system.

  • Oval Gear Flowmeters

    Titan Enterprises Ltd

Titan’s oval gear (OG) range of flow meters operate on the basic positive displacement technique in that they take a discrete volume of liquid and pass it from the inlet to the outlet without loss or slippage. By nature these devices perform better at higher viscosities as the increasing fluid thickness reduces the leakage rate even further and extends the useful operating range to lower flow rates. The oval gear design allows these flowmeters to operate with a very low differential pressure, only millimetres of head in some cases.

  • Vapor Source Mass Flow Controller With Viscous Choked Flow

    MKS Instruments

The 1150C Vapor Source Mass Flow Controllers are pressure based measurement and control systems designed to meter and control vapor from low vapor pressure liquid and solid sources directly, without the need of a carrier gas using viscous flow through a choked orifice.

  • Ion Chromatography

IC Software- MagIC Net - Metrohm AG

MagIC Net is the software to control your Metrohm ion chromatograph and any modules for liquid handling, sample preparation, and automation connected. Intuitive operation, comprehensive system monitoring, and straightforward data management make MagIC Net, what it is: the preferred software for state-of-the art ion chromatography.

  • Electrodes Sensor

    6013 - AMETEK Drexelbrook

When selecting electrode sensors an important factor is to consider the specific characteristics of the liquid involved, the lengths required to obtain the desired control of levels, and the physical nature of the container.B/W Controls' line of electrodes has been developed to provide a practical, economical solution to almost every conceivable application and installation problem. Our electrode sensors are available in several varieties: solid rod (rigid), wire suspension, and standard gland plugs for high vibration applications. In addition, we offer custom options made per customer’s requirements.

  • Electronic Circular Temperature Chart Recorder

    DeltaTRAK

The Circular Temperature Chart Recorder’s external stainless steel probe allows you to measure the temperature of air, gas, liquids and semi-solids. The temperature chart recorder has a quartz clock movement, motorized chart advance and temperature accuracy of ±2°F (±1°C). The chart recorder comes in °F or °C models and runs on 120V or 220V AC, 50/60 Hz. A rear compartment houses 8 AA alkaline batteries, providing up to 48 hours of continuous recording in the event of a temporary power loss.

  • Float Switches

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Float switches in (the process) industry are used for the point-based limit level detection of one or several levels. They work independently of foaming, conductivity, dielectric, pressure, vacuum, temperature, vapours, condensation, bubble formation, boiling effects and vibrations and are suitable for almost all liquid media. The switching operation is contact-free, free from wear and needs no supply voltage. The simple and proven functional principle of the float switch enables a very wide range of applications, from general industrial applications through to use in process plants or in the shipbuilding industry.

Key features include:

  • Lake Variable Area Flow Meters

    AW Gear Meters

Lake Variable Area flow meters, often referred to as rotameters, measure flow rate of a liquid or gas by relating linear displacement of an internal “float” or sharp-edged orifice plate (Lake) to a corresponding flow rate. As flow rate increases, the orifice area that the flow moves through also increases – thus, the term “Variable Area.” Variable Area meters either allow flow through a peripheral orifice formed between a tapered wall and a float as in the traditional rotameter, or an annular orifice and an internal tapered metering pin in the Lake Monitor.
