  • Test Equipment

    Southern Photonics Ltd

Southern Photonics designed and manufactured all the test equipment currently being manufactured by Coherent Solutions, as well as equipment for non-telecoms applications. This includes FBG strain interrogators, optical pulse phase analysers, OSNR meters, optical power meters, optical spectrum analysers, optical gas sensors… you get the idea. All test equipment we build is robust and easy to use. The picture shows some of what we can do – anything from prototype benchtop test gear (as in the combination ASE source and laser combiner on top of the stack) to field test equipment (the portable fast OSA on the bottom).

  • Cryocoolers

    MT - Sunpower Inc.

The MT cooler has been in production since 2003 and is based on the CT cooler design.  It was developed  for the customer who did not need the lift of the CT cryocooler and wanted size and weight reduction for their application.  The MT has been used successfully in applications such as High Temperature Superconductivity (HTS) filters, high altitude balloons, refrigeration, germanium detectors, IR detectors, radio telescopes, laser diode cooling, and research among others. We believe the customer will agree that the CryoTel®  MT is the smallest 5W @77K cooler available at an attractive price point with a Mean Time to Failure of over 200,000 hours.

  • Light Section Sensors for Object Detection

Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG

Switching light section sensors are designed to perform scanning, two-dimensional object detection along a laser line. They are especially well suited for completeness monitoring or product monitoring in the case of multiple track transport. The short measurement time and the detection range from 200 to 800 mm enable an inspection of the content at a high throughput rate even with deep containers. The internal data processing offers programming and differentiation of 16 different object types, thereby conserving control capacity. Complex detection tasks can be solved with one sensor. The compact housing ensures high flexibility during installation and saves installation space.

  • Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera

    FLIR E96 - Teledyne FLIR

The FLIR E96 is our first pistol-grip camera with 640 × 480 thermal resolution so inspectors can survey high-voltage, hazardous targets safely and quickly diagnose electrical and mechanical failures. Interchangeable AutoCal™ lenses offer complete coverage of near and distant targets, with the laser distance meter ensuring the crisp focus needed for accurate temperature measurement. The onboard FLIR Inspection Route runs pre-planned routes to help inspectors stay organized when surveying large or multiple locations. FLIR Ignite provides automatic uploading of E96 images directly from the camera to the cloud for easy, secure storage and sharing.

  • Multi-sensor Drug & Explosive Detection System

    HDK - Laser-Detect Systems Ltd.

LDS Hybrid Detection Kit (HDK) - By operating the sensors in parallel, and in real-time, results in much higher probability of detection than the performance of each specific detector. Integrated solution including laser detection technologies, dual Ion Mobility Spectroscopy (IMS) and chemical detection, that operate in synch. The HDK employs a proprietary algorithm to processes the feeds from each of the detectors. Operating the sensors in parallel, and in real-time, results in a much higher probability of detection than the performance of each specific detector. HDK also provides much lower false positive rate, even in conditions that hinder detection by each of the specific techniques.

  • Camera Modules

    CameraModule - OtO Photonics Inc.

Series is built with the linear back-thinned 2048 x 64 pixels CCD type sensor and high performance 32bits RISC controller in. CM series contains a Thermal Electric Cooler (TEC) along with cooling system design to reduce dark current and maintain a lower stable operating temperature. CM Series has outstanding sensitivity, high SNR ratio, high dynamic range, low electrical-heat noise and fast spectrum responds, suitable for 785 nm laser 2800 cm-1(790~1010nm) or 3500 cm-1(790~1090 nm) Raman application and long wavelength measurement (180~1100 nm).

  • Three Axis Interferometer

    10735A - Keysight Technologies

The Keysight 10735A Three Axis Interferometer is used in multiple axis applications where linear and angular control of the stage is required. It combines in a single package the functionality of an optical bench with multiple beam benders, beam splitters, and three interferometers. The interferometers split an incoming laser beam into three beams to measure linear distance, pitch and yaw, or linear distance, roll and yaw. Three linear measurements provide the basis for calculating two angular measurements. The inherent beam parallelism ensures that there is essentially no cosine error between the three measurements and also ensures angle accuracy for pitch and yaw measurements. Other characteristics include:
