  • Framegrabber

    FastX-UXGA - Alacron

The FastX-UXGA frame grabber series is for users who anticipate a demand for extreme I/O requirements or higher bandwidth, complex image processing and real-time fast storage in a cost effective platform. The base Fast-UXGA, is a raw-length PCI board with two (four-muxed) UXGA analog conversion channels using Analog Device's AD9888. The front end data is formatted and preprocessed by a FPGA before being sent to the memory subsection, from zero to four PNX1702 processors before output. Finally, the Fast-UXGA interfaces to the host computer through a 4x PCIe interface for state-of-the-art data acquisition.

  • Hyperspectral Imaging Sensors

    Headwall Photonics, Inc.

HYPERSPEC® sensors are line-scanning instruments (sometimes called pushbroom) that collect reflected light through an image slit. One row of spatial pixels is collected per frame as motion occurs, with each pixel containing full spectral data. Motion can be accomplished in two ways: either as an airborne deployment (UAV, aircraft, or satellite) or stationary (where motion is accomplished beneath the sensor, such as a food inspection line). A third option is also available where pan-and-tilt or rotary stages allow a fixed-location sensor to scan a stationary object (such as a piece of artwork, or a mine face for geological applications).

  • Multi-Interface Frame Grabber

Xtium 2 CLHS PX8 LC - Teledyne DALSA

The Xtium™ 2 CLHS PX8 features CameraLink HS standard on the PCI Express™ Gen 3.0 platform. This single cable, single slot solution supports up to 4-CLHS lanes, each operating at 10.3 Gbits/s, to acquire images at up to 5.0 GBytes/s and transfer them using PCIe x8 slots to the host memory. The Xtium2-CLHS supports Active Optical Cable (AOC) to extend the cable length beyond 100 meters. Built-in data-forwarding and multi-board sync capabilities deliver a platform for distributed processing for high-speed, computational intensive machine vision applications.

  • Smart Camera

    x86 Quad-Core - ADLINK Technology Inc.

ADLINK's new generation x86 NEON-1040/1020 features 4MP 60fps global shutter sensor and the Intel® Atom™ quad core 1.9 GHz processor, featuring minimal footprint and rugged IP67-rated construction. The quad core CPU increases computing power and FPGA coprocessors and GPU deliver advanced image processing, both beyond the capabilities of conventional smart cameras. Rich software support and API compatibility enable easy migration from original x86 platforms, eliminating software and development language burdens across the platform, reducing time to market.

  • Stand alone Software

    MeX - Alicona Imaging GmbH

MeX is a stand alone software package that turns any SEM with digital imaging into a true surface metrology device. Using stereoscopic images the software automatically retrieves 3D information and presents a highly accurate, robust and dense 3D dataset which is then used to perform traceable metrology examination. The results are obtained irrespective of the SEM magnification providing metrology at macro and micro levels. No additional hardware is necessary to run MeX and it can be used with any SEM. Due to the unique AutoCalibration routine the calibration data is automatically refined. Thereby only MeX enables traceable 3D measurements at any magnification in the SEM.

  • Ultra High Speed Framing Camera

UHSi - nac Image Technology Inc.

The Invisible® Vision Ultra UHSi series of compact ultra high speed framing cameras are designed to capture up to 24 mega-pixel performance frames of the very fastest events. The Ultra UHSi 12/24 provides a researcher unparalleled flexibility to capture an event. The Ultra UHSi 12/24 makes use of an imbedded image intensifier which provides fully independently programmable exposures and delays down to 5ns, and framing rates up to 200 Million fps. Camera versatility is further enhanced by its multiple triggering capabilities, which include "synchro" mode, or "frame-byframe" triggering.

  • Video Analysis Software

    BrainChip Studio - BrainChip Inc.

BrainChip Studio aids law enforcement and intelligence organizations to rapidly search vast amounts of video footage and identify patterns or faces. A result of over 10 years of R&D, it uses an artificial intelligence (AI) technology called a spiking neural network (SNN), a type of neuromorphic computing that simulates the functionality of the human visual tract. Because faces have unique identifying features, the software includes advanced facial detection, extraction and classification algorithms. The SNN technology enables BrainChip Studio to work on low-resolution video and requires only a 24x24 pixel image to detect and classify faces.

VQTS-200 is a self-contained solution, combining: 3G-SDI/HDMI/DVI player/recorder - based on AJA Kona LHi card Built-in RAID storage - uncompressed YUV signals in and out, up to 1080p60 Visual, instrumental and automated tests using VQL Test Patterns Library Sophisticated image quality VQMA3 software analyzer - complete quality report in 2 seconds Ideal tool for development labs, software developers and high volume manufacturers Easy-to-use tool, instantly revealing your video camera, codec, scaler, converter or other video device performance User-selectable reporting modes: machine-readable file with Pass/Fail marks detailed multi-page PDF document

  • VIS-SWIR FPA's

    Inframet

Imaging electronic sensors sensitive in visible, near infrared, short wavelength infrared spectral bands that generate two dimensional electronic images have found mass applications in industry, defense, security, science, environmental protection, medicine etc. Imaging sensors sensitive only in VIS/NIR range are almost exclusively silicon chips manufactured using a series of technologies: CCD, CMOS. ICCD, EMCCD, EBAPS, sCMOS in color or monochromatic versions. Color VIS/NIR sensors are sensitive to light only in visible range when monochromatic VIS/NIR sensors are sensitive up to about 1000nm.

  • SWIR Cameras

    New Imaging Technologies

Our SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to "See Beyond the Visible". SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons. At NIT, we offer unique SWIR cameras and sensors, see below for more information on our products.

  • X-ray Microscopy
