  • Integrated Gas Alarm & Control System

    MCX-32 - Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection

The MCX-32 controller features a flexible design that allows the user to customize a system by choosing from a selection of individually addressable field devices or use addressable input and output modules. Detcon’s full range of gas sensors (purchased separately) can be used to create a gas detection system consisting of toxic gas, combustible gas, and/or oxygen deficiency. A wide range of field devices such as liquid level, temperature, pressure, flow, etc., can also be configured for input to the control system. Four standard I/O modules are available: a 4-channel 4-20mA input module (DA-4), a 4-alarm relay output module (RL-4), a 4-channel 4-20mA output module (AO-4), and a 4-relay contact input module (DI-4). I/O modules are din-rail mounted and stackable allowing for seamless system expansion. The I/O modules may be mounted within the main system enclosure or in separate enclosures suitable for the area classification where installation will occur. In many cases using distributed I/O nodes can significantly reduce wiring and installation costs.

  • Colorimeter

Model CA-600 - Teledyne Analytical Instruments

The CA600 is an online sequential sampling analyzer, using colorimetric methods. The analyzer can be configured to most laboratory colorimetric tests in individual processes. The CA600 Analyzers are easy to start up and use, simply connect the sample, waste and reagent lines and then power up the factory calibrated analyzer. Wall mount hardware is standard but an optional bench-top stand with reagent holder is also available. Accessing information for customizing an analysis routine is easily accomplished with the simple, user friendly menu structure and touch screen interface. The analyzer has two separated enclosures with two lockable doors. The top enclosure, called the electrical enclosure, includes the main power supply, the controller PCB assembly and the touchscreen interface. The bottom enclosure, called the liquids enclosure, includes all the components involved in the sample and reagent flow, mixing and reaction stages (sampling pump, reagent micro pumps and colorimetric reaction cell). Numerous analysis configurations can be programmed, depending on the accessories and the number of micro-pumps mounted in the liquid enclosure.

  • Oil Tan Delta Tester

    OTD - Megger Group Ltd.

The Oil Tan Delta (OTD) is a laboratory instrument, which measures the Tan Delta, Resistivity and Relative Permittivity of insulating liquids. These tests give a wider picture of the overall quality of the insulating oil, and will indicate if there is any contamination. Megger has developed features of the OTD to ensure that productivity levels within laboratories are maximised. The microprocessor controlled inductive heater means that there is uniformity of temperature throughout the cell, in compliance with IEC 60247, and for cooling a fan effectively speeds up the cell cooling time. The instrument has a temperature measuring range of 10 to 110 C, with an accuracy of 1 C. It can be set to preheat before testing takes place. The automated oil drain facility negates the need to move the oil vessel. User safety is paramount and with this in mind, Megger have designed independent and dual redundant high voltage cut-off circuitry. If for any reason the user needs to abort the test, this can be done so by pressing any key, immediately terminating the test and removing the high voltage. The design of the cell components maximise oil fill rate but minimise turbulence in oil flow and eliminate trapping of air. With only 32 cell components, it is easy to assemble and disassemble.

  • Viscometers

    PCE Instruments

A viscometer, viscosity meter or rheometer is a measuring instrument used to determine a fluid's internal flow resistance or viscosity. The term viscosity typically refers to shear viscosity, i.e., how a material reacts to being sheared. Rotational viscometers with rotating spindles or rotors, also known as "cup and bob" or Searle viscometers, are the most common tools used to measure the shear viscosity of fluids. However, a fluid's viscosity also may be measured on the basis of stretching. The technical term to refer to this is extensional viscosity.A viscometer is frequently used in laboratories, but it also has practical applications in factories and other industrial environments. A viscometer can be an important component in process and quality control. Companies can save money by placing a viscometer in a production line and making fluid viscosity measurements in real time.PCE Instruments offers a variety of handheld, portable, benchtop and in-process, real-time viscometer products that measure the absolute / dynamic (shear) and kinematic viscosity of fluids. Handheld or portable viscosity meter devices allow users to take simple, single-point measurements in the field and in the lab. Benchtop or stationary viscometer devices are complex rheological measuring systems that allow for a more detailed examination of liquid samples.

  • Nanogravimetric Measuring Instrument

    EUREKA - BioAge s.r.l.

Eureka is a QCM / EQCM (Quartz Crystal Microbalance) nanogravimetric measuring instrument capable of mass measurements in the order of nano-grams and pico-grams. Eureka can be used with gas and liquids, the cells are made by BioAge and sold with the instrument. The tool is the most versatile among those existing on the market, with an excellent quality / price ratio. It is a portable instrument as it is powered only by the PC USB port. The instrument is extremely compact, light, reliable and designed according to the current state of microelectronics. To use Eureka simply connect it to a PC USB port and install the capture software, running in Windows ™ environment, which turns out to be very simple to use, so you can do the first experiments in a very short time. For liquid measurements Eureka is an electrochemical system, therefore, electrochemical and nanogravimetric measurements can be performed at the same time (EQCM). Eureka, if connected to a self-powered portable PC, allows to perform measurements and experiments in total freedom in environments where grid voltage is not available,or experiments that are carried out in large areas in total freedom of movement. Measurements can be made on liquids, thanks to the static cell or the flow cell, or BioAge is able to design and create customized cells according to the needs of the user, varying volumes, dimensions and materials. The instrument is very versatile because the frequency measurement range can range from 0 to 50MHz, depending on the quartz crystal used. or use a gas cell designed for gas phase analysis, BioAge is able to design and produce customized cells according to the user's needs, varying volumes, dimensions and materials. The instrument is very versatile because the frequency measurement range can range from 0 to 50MHz, depending on the quartz crystal used. or use a gas cell designed for gas phase analysis, BioAge is able to design and produce customized cells according to the user's needs, varying volumes, dimensions and materials.
