The type C set up of this instrument enables the developer of single LEDs, LED modules or chips to study angular performance in many development stages; fast and most important: reliable. The detector head of the goniometer is a high-quality, visible-range spectrometer, equipped with diffuser optics to collect all important measurement quantities over the customer required angular range. With a maximum allowable source sample size of 300mmx100mm and 25kg, the new benchtop goniometer covers a wide range of LED measurement requirements. The footprint of the instrument itself with 1.65mx0.60mx1.73m allows the usage also in small dark rooms and optical laboratories.

The 740 is a high channel density CAEN Waveform Digitizer family able to perform basic waveform recording and run online advanced algorithms (DPP) of charge integration. Both the elevate number of channels per board (32 for Desktop and NIM form factor, 64 for VME) and the DPP algorithm make the board a digital replacement of a traditional QDC. Data is read by a Flash ADC, 12-bit resolution and 62.5 MS/s sampling rate, which is well suited for mid-slow signals as the ones coming from inorganic scintillators coupled to PMTs, gaseous detectors and others. Sampling rate can be further reduced using the decimation feature. The acquisition can be channel independent and externally vetoed/gated. Multiple boards can be synchronized to build up complex systems.

The LIDAR-Lite v4 Qwiic from GARMIN is a high-performance, wireless optical distance measurement sensor that doesn't require any soldering to get started. This is the ideal solution for drone, robot, IoT, or unmanned vehicle operations when space is tight and power is limited. This sensor has up to a 10 meter range, 1cm resolution, and requires 85mA during data acquisition. The user can read and write to the LIDAR-Lite v4 using the I2C protocol; this is where the addition of the SparkFun Qwiic system really shines. The LIDAR sensor requires 5V to operate but runs on 3V3 logic. With a 5V boost circuit and an easy-to-use Qwiic connector you can power the sensor and get distance measurements over Qwiic all with a single piece of hardware.

A water sampler is often used in conjunction with a CTD. The water sampler collects 1 or more actual samples of water for analysis in the lab after recovery of the package. The water samples can be used to verify the accuracy of data measured by the instruments on the package, and/or to provide additional information that cannot be measured with an instrument in the field. Sea-Bird water samplers can be controlled (i.e., bottles closed) from deck via a Sea-Bird deck unit and software, or can be pre-programmed to close bottles at desired depths. Sea-Bird manufactures two water samplers: the SBE 32 Carousel (up to 36 bottles, 1.7 - 30 liters, available in regular, compact, and sub-compact sizes, for depths to 10,500 m) and the SBE 55 ECO (small, 3- or 6-bottle sampler for depths to 600 meters).
